LODGE ANCHOR OF HOPE NO. 1093 E.C. –WELLINGTON INSTALLATION NEWS-2005 By W. Bro. (Dr) George Jayaprakash, Dy DGDoC Every year the month of February is set apart in our Lodge for the Installing a new Worshipful Master and this year was no different too. After a hectic weekend at Chennai for the investiture Meetings, we had our Installation Meeting on the 19th February 2005. W.Bro. B.Balaji Singh, PAGDC and PDJGW was deputed by the RW The District Grand Master to be his chosen representative. The inspection of the books, registers and files were completed in the forenoon of the 19th at which time W.Bro. B. Balaji Singh evinced keen interest in our Library, a modest and a small one though, which has some very valuable books. At 5.30 p.m., a group photograph was taken under suitable dispensation followed by tea. The Meeting started off at 6.10 p.m. and Bro. M. Gopalakrishnan was installed as the Worshipful Master of this Lodge. Visitors from across the hills, Lodge of Faith Hope and Charity No. 1285 EC, Ootacamund and one Brother from Lodge Cauvery No. 3848, Cauvery added to the camaraderie and fellowship. After the meeting, the 35 Brethren assembled, joined for a time of ‘fellowsip’ following which our usual sit-down banquet was held with the traditional Masonic decorum. With the night advancing and the nippy cold increasing, Brethren departed to the cosy comforts of their homes well before midnight.
